small quantities.</p>

<p>I was suspicious seeing the spot welding on the exchanger so I made a test at
home to compare how much faster it boils 250ml water, compared to a basic steel
cup with tinfoil lid, using my Esbit Pocket Stove.</p>

<p>Results were underwhelming: basic steel cup beat fancy cup by 10 seconds (5 min
20s vs 5 min 30).</p>
