This route is one of my all time off-road favorites around Berlin. It can be done on a gravel bike, MTB or even trekking (for the adventurous). The beauty of the route is the lack of any major town or bigger village en-route. You won’t see many people once left Eberswalde.

Getting out of Eberswalde is quick, only takes a few minutes to reach the forest. You will cross and follow a tiny stream before reaching Spechthausen.
